Alcoma Iron Construction believes that every building or building element must meet a set of technical conditions or requirements principal technical economic, concerning durability over time, robustness structural, fire resistance, strength and stability of the construction, physical conditions and hygiene, architectural, economic and organizational.

Our opinion is that the structure or strength framework is a set of structural elements (columns, beams, walls, plates etc), arranged in a way that will ensure the transmission of loads acting upon them without jeopardizing the safety and integrity of the building. So the design and dimensioning of the resistance structure of a building is a complex process and must meet several requirements:

  • engineering – structure must meet all design rules imposed, namely requirements for strength, stability, ductility, deformability, safety of operation;
  • architectural – functional structure must match the specified destination and to present an aesthetically pleasing;
  • economic – the minimize costs, reduce material consumption expenditure on implementation, transport and installation of structural components and maintenance while also solution must be effective and sustainable;

For a building it is important that its structure be stable and resistant. These demands can be met through more design alternatives, but very few variants will offer the lowest cost execution.

  1. Infrastructure
